In addition such a person must have a history of respect from other whistlers and a public life example of honor to not discredit the art. (The nominee could be deceased.)This award is the highest award currently presented to a living or deceased whistler. It is given only once to an individual, but more than one individual may be awarded in the same year. Please compose your knowledge on separate pages of the history of such a person.
